Apple has officially entered the foldable phone game with the iPhone Duo. This is Apple doing what Apple does best — taking a category that’s existed for years and reimagining it with its own signature blend of design, engineering, and software polish.

A New Iphone, A New Category
Introducing iPhone Duo, the first foldable iPhone from Apple. When fully open, it offers the largest iPhone display ever made — 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max. When closed, the outer display still gives you more than 90% of the screen real estate found on a standard iPhone 18 Pro.
In short: you get a full-size iPhone experience folded into a compact, pocketable form — and a tablet-like display the moment you open it up.
The Biggest, Smoothest Display Yet
The star of the show is the 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR inner display, built from 10 ultra-thin layers with a custom nano-texture finish that cuts down on glare. Apple even hid the FaceTime camera underneath the display itself, so there’s no notch or cutout interrupting the screen — just one smooth, uninterrupted surface for movies, games, and everyday use.
Both the inner and outer displays support:

Wide-angle OLED panels for excellent viewing from any angle
And thanks to Apple’s engineering, the fold itself is nearly invisible — optically clear adhesives let the display layers glide smoothly as it opens and closes, minimizing stress and crease over time.
